Wirt iż-Żejtun has just presented a copy of the book “The Żejtun Roman Villa: Research, Conservation, Management” to Dr Lawrence Gonzi, Leader of the Opposition.
Representatives from the executive committee of Wirt iż-Żejtun have met Dr Gonzi at the Dar Ċentrali. During the meeting Dr Gonzi was briefed about how our organisation was set up and what it its mission. He was also informed about the activities organised by Wirt iż-Żejtun and was invited to join in for an activity in the near future.
Dr Gonzi commented on the need of other voluntary organisations as Wirt iż-Żejtun and was impressed on the quality and level of the publication presented to him.
