Music is another asset in our local heritage. Iż-Żejtun has produced one of the Maltese genius composers, particularly kown for his sacred music compositions. Carlo Diacono has composed hundreds of pieces of sacred music, most of which still played during the church celebrations to patron saints in different parishes, both in Malta and Gozo.
