The eighth issue of Wirt iż-Żejtun newsletter for March 2013 has just been issued.
The editorial in this issue speaks about our commitment to research and present to the public the real historical facts about Zejtun and its people. We need to distinguish clearly between legends and researched facts.
The main item on the front-page of this issue is a report about the visit made by the Executive Committee to the President of Malta, HE Dr George Abela on the 5th March at the palace in St Anton Gardens.
As usual one also find brief news items in one of the columns on the front of the newsletter.
The back page includes a calender of events scheduled for the months of March and April. At the end one finds a brief report on funds awarded to Wirt iż-Żejtun through the Small Initiatives Scheme for a projected named “BELTNA” intended to increase the appreciation of our heritage among children.
