A month has passed since Monday 5 November 2012 when the Beland Band Club of Zejtun released a publication entitled “Beland 150 Sena ta’ Storja”. The publication, authored by Kan. Joe Abela who hails from Zejtun, reviews the major milestones and developments of the Beland Band during the past 150 years since its inception by the Diacono brothers in 1861.
This is another book which you should have in your library if you are interested in the history of our town. The publication is now for sale at the Beland Band Club. Some months ago, the other musical society at Zejtun, the Zejtun Band Club had published a similar book on the history of their band club.
