On Thursday evening the exhibition on the Żejtun Roman Villa was officially opened by the President of Wirt iż-Żejtun and the Żejtun Mayor.
This exhibition organised by Wirt iż-Żejtun has been hosted by the Żejtun Local Council and was supported by the same local council and included the collaboration of the Żejtun Parish, Heritage Malta and the Department of Classics and Archaeology of the University of Malta. The main sponsors of the activity were ACTAVIS.
The people present for the opening were the first to visit the exhibition and all had positive comments on the interpretation and display.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday 7th October and will open in the evenings during next week. During Żejt iż-Żejtun the exhibition will open between 17:00 and 00:00 on Saturday 29th and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Sunday 30th.
