his evening, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra gave a performance at the Zejtun Parish Church one of its Community Outreach Concerts.
The concert was well attended although one would have expected better. This performance was held on the anniversary the dedication of the Parish Church and for the occasion of the 320th anniversary from the laying of the first stone of the same church.
The orchestra was conducted by Maestro Michael Laus and the orchestra leader was Ms Marcelline Agius. Seven orchestral pieces were played including works from Mendelssohn, Mozart, Haydn, Handel, Bach, Albinioni and Charles Camilleri.
At the end of the concert the audience were asked to make a donation in aid of the church restoration project.
