Issue number 32 of our newsletter is being published, this time in a completely new, modern and fresh design.
In this issue the editorial speaks about the important role played by local councils and encourages the residents not just to a participate by choosing their preferred candidates as councilors, but also to appreciate the work done by these people who stand in these positions on a purely voluntary basis, accept for a small honorarium given to the person occupying the Mayor’s post.
The newsletter gives a brief account on events held during the first quarter of 2019 and also notifies on events being planned for the following three months.
Dr George Vella is congratulated for his appointment as President of the Republic and Mr Anthony Spagnol is also congratulated for his award of Ġieħ iż-Żejtun.
