EVENTS: Remembrance Day


On Sunday 23rd November, Wirt iż-Żejtun commemorated remembrance day. This year’s special commemoration was given to Clement Tabone.

Mass was celebrated at St Catherine’s Parish Church and was attended by the local civil society and the Zejtun Scouts and Guides group.  Following mass a cortege proceeded towards St Clements Chapel where the executive committee of Wirt iż-Żejtun laid flowers.  This chapel was built by Clement Tabone.
