On Sunday 4th November a group from the Lions Club Sliema visited the Old Parish Church of St Catherine at Żejtun.
The group were welcomed by Wirt iż-Żejtun President who showed them round the church and brief them about the history and architecture of this architectural treasure.

A presentation given by Ms Giulia Privitelli on the 19th November 2013 on her research about the history of the Zejtun Parish Church.
By participating actively in Wirt iż-Żejtun you will be learning more and adding to your knowledge. Now this is also being rewarded since you can add such experience into the Secondary School Certificate and Profile. Wirt iż-Żejtun will be giving a participation certificate to Form 1 to Form 5 students attending our activities.

Wirt iż-Żejtun had organised this activity for children in August 2011 in which Mr Lino Psaila had showed those attending how they make a "manuċċa" (a kite).
