In the following pages we will be presenting the architectural development of the two churches at Zejtun, the old parish church commonly known as ta’ San Girgor and the new parish church located in the historical centre of the town.
In this section we will go through the historical development of these two churches and evaluate their importance not only in the contect of the town itself but also their national importance due to their architectural significance.
