L-Istorja taż-Żejtun u M’Xlokk – E B Vella

This is propably the first time that the history of this town was properly researched and published in a book.

The book was written by E. B. Vella who was a head-teacher at the Zejtun Government Primary School. Although he was not from Zejtun, his research is considered an excelent work for the period in which it was written.

Being a book that was published in 1927, it is very difficult to trace an original copy unless from an auction. However researchers may consult a copy of this book at the National Library – Bibliotecha and some local public libraries.
